This site was started to help promote STEM education programs  (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math ) education in the Richmond, Virginia metro area, ( RVA = Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico, Hanover, Goochland, Petersburg and Ashland)

While there are many STEM education programs in Richmond, some are hard to find. We started this site as a community resource in April 2013 to make it easier. We are especially interested helping low income students  that are gifted with high ability in science, engineering and math. There are few STEM education charities and we aim to highlight them. We welcome your input, just use the contact link to the left or call me weekdays 1-804-423-1100.

Promoting STEM education for low income children takes volunteer time and money. Please consider donating to the sites below that appeal to you. And contact them for volunteer opportunities. There is something for everybody to do. You don't have to be a teacher, scientist or engineer. You just need to appreciate the value of helping children get interested in STEM careers and want to help.

Be sure to bookmark this site in your favorites, like us on Facebook and get the word out about this resource. Thanks! Eric Sundberg, Webmaster.
